Health and Social Care
The Health and Social Care Programme works to support health and well-being activities and initiatives in rural East and West Sussex.
The programme, through individual area based projects and working in partnership, promotes and encourages community and self-help, inclusion, good health and independence, particularly for the more vulnerable members of the community.
We can deliver quality support and information on a whole range of topics including needs assessment, setting up of initiatives and groups, recruitment and support of volunteers and sharing of good practice.
We undertake Community Development to ensure a ‘whole’ community approach working closely with other AirS programmes. We work with health and social care organisations and agencies, strategic networks and partnerships to ensure the needs of rural communities are heard and met.
