Neil is an experienced consultant with wide-ranging experience in the
public, private and third sectors. He focuses on helping communities to develop their potential and to work better with the public sector. He is passionate about supporting communities to develop better and more sustainable outcomes, especially in places that currently experience high levels of health, education and economic deprivation.
Neil trained as a designer and has the ability to develop evidence-based approaches to difficult social problems. He brings experience from working across different sectors, including as a director in a dotcom start-up, as an experienced government official and working with public and third sector bodies to provide better and more cost effective services.
Neil’s broad experience enables a practical and realistic approach to making change, focusing on helping people to do their best thinking. He is familiar with delivering challenging policy ambitions within tight financial constraints, helping organisations to find new ways of delivering value.
As well as working as a consultant, Neil has worked for Cabinet Office, as a Director of a community association in a deprived neighbourhood, and with charities and social enterprises to promote and deliver change.
Neil lives in East Sussex and enjoys cycling, writing, beach fishing and walking and has taken part in numerous charity fundraising events. He is chair of Hastings & St Leonards Cycle Club.
