Born and brought up in Sussex, Jeremy has worked at Action in rural Sussex since 1989. He has a degree in Environmental Science from Warwick University and an MBA from Kingston Business School.
During his time at AirS, Jeremy spent several years as Vice Chairman and member of the Planning Committee of the South East England Regional Assembly – the Blair administration’s ill-fated experiment with English regional government. He also chaired the East Sussex Strategic Partnership for four years and was one of the first Members of the South Downs National Park Authority.
Jeremy’s main concern is that all rural people are given thought and consideration in the way public policy treats them, especially those in rural areas, whose voices can sometimes be hard to hear alongside others who are more vocal and articulate.
