Community-led Development Event – Pulborough 23rd March 2016.

On the 23rd March, 50 people from across Sussex, Surrey and Hampshire attended an event organised to hear about and discuss different approaches to community-led development.

The event focused on 2 presentations, these were:

Community Land Trusts and Community Led Development – Tom Warder (Action in rural Sussex)

Timber as a 21st Century Building Material– David Saunders (Woodnet) and The Points of Timber in Architecture – Steve Johnson (Architecture Ensemble)

The presentations were followed by a lively Q and A and discussion which sought to explore in more detail the concepts and issues, together with the processes for their delivery. Those attending gave very good feedback both on the night and subsequently;

“Good event last night.  All very inspiring so well done!”
(David Doxford – South Downs National Park Authority)
