Future proofing our rural library service: A meeting to exchange of ideas and plans – Thursday 15th February 2018 – 5.30pm-7.30pm

Action in rural Sussex is inviting all of those seeking to retain a library service in their community to get together to compare ideas and see what could be achieved by working together.  The meeting is taking place in Ringmer Village Hall where one of the libraries under threat is located.

The emphasis will be on practical action that can be taken by communities should the proposed closures and withdrawal of the mobile library happen as a result of ESCC’s ‘strategic commissioning’ approach.

When: Thursday 15th February 2018

Where: Jack Hart Hall, Ringmer Village Hall, Lewes Rd, Ringmer BN8 5QH

From 5.30pm-7.30pm

At this stage, representatives of ESCC are not being invited to the meeting.
