Lost Woods Community Get Together

This event is all about bringing our community together to share hopes, ideas, inspiration and of course, food.

• Please join us for sandwiches, tea and a catch up on Lost Woods activity over the last year.
• Get to know each other and share ideas for creating Loved Woods over more tea & cake.
• Discover ways and examples for positive action to protect woods with a workshop from the Woodland Trust’s Woods Under Threat team who will be available afterwards to answer questions on specific sites.
• They’ll be a bit of bingo, maps, some nature mandalas and more.
• A choice of craft activity or a talk from ecologist Dr Tony Whitbread:

Lost Woods Past Present and Future -“Sussex is one of the most wooded counties in England, so where did our woods come from, what is their history, and how important are they for wildlife?  And, importantly, how are we looking after them, what is their future and what might we be able to do to pass our woodland heritage on to future generations?”
