Rural Business Networking & Support

Do you run a business in rural East Sussex?

If you operate or are thinking about starting a business in a rural part of East Sussex and feel you would benefit from networking with other local businesses or  access to business advice and support then we would be really interested in hearing from you!

Working with our project partners the Let’s Do Business Group we are encouraging rural businesses of all types (including home-based businesses, the self-employed, small and medium-sized firms and community enterprises e.g. village halls) to come together with others in their locality as a means of meeting potential suppliers and clients, providing mutual support and to hear about the free business advice and funding on offer.

How can we help?

1. Establishing business networks

Business people of all types commonly identify the value of meeting with others to share experiences and learning, discuss local issues and explore how they can move their business forward.

We can help willing volunteers to get networks started by working to identify venues, promote and organise meetings, obtain speakers and provide links to other networks.

2. Providing access to free business support

Our knowledgeable colleagues at Lets Do Business offer free support tailored to the specific needs of a business, whether it be on how to get started, finance options, marketing and social media and a wide range of other themes.

Support is available on a one-to-one basis or can be offered to groups where there is enough demand.
