Village Hall Networking Workshop, Rawson Hall, Bolney, Tuesday 13 October, 6:30-9:30pm

Throughout the autumn Action in rural Sussex is holding a series of 3 evening networking workshops for those involved in running Village Halls and Community Buildings.

These will focus on the role of Emergency Resilience Planning with guest speakers from the Sussex Resilience Forum and members of District Councils. There will also be sessions on current topical issues in managing and funding halls facilitated by Louise Beaton, Community Halls Advisor. Finally, there will be numerous opportunities for informal networking between participants.

Each event will run between 6.30pm and 9.30pm, with venues currently scheduled on the following dates:

  • Ashurst Village Hall, Horsham District on Thursday 8th October 2015
  • Rawson Hall, Bolney, Mid Sussex on Tuesday 13th October 2015
  • Chiddingly Village Hall, Wealden District on Tuesday 10th November 2015

Please use the booking form to request any topics or discussions that concern your management committee so that they can be considered at the event. Short ‘surgery’ sessions may also be requested in advance of any of the events by completing the relevant part of the form.

The workshops are free to subscribers (for the 1st October 2015 to 31st March 2016 period) as outlined in the subscription services with 2 places per hall (subject to availability). The cost to non-subscribers or additional attendees is £36 per person.
