Jessie Rodriguez – Lost Woods of the Low Weald

Jessie joined AirS in October 2020 in the midst of the Coronavirus pandemic. She studied Ecology and Conservation at Sussex University. After a decade as a ranger she spent the next ten years specialising in community development and environmental education.

In her previous role at Sussex Community Development Association she worked setting up community gardens and walking groups on the “Green and Open Spaces for Health” project and started the Greenhaven’s Network. Jessie likes to practice mindfulness and is a Beach and Forest School Practitioner.

Jessie is married with two children and in her spare time loves to go to the woods walking her dog with friends, crafting, singing and growing fruit and vegetables in her garden. Jessie is passionate about the environment and loves sharing the wonder of nature with children and people from all backgrounds.
