Wild Wellbeing on Wednesdays

Do you live in or near Hailsham?

Do you find that being in nature helps you feel good?

If YES – see this opportunity from Sacred Earth that is happening in June!

Improve your wellbeing in nature – on your doorstep

Through lockdown, many of us have discovered how much better we feel when we spend time outdoors.

There is even scientific evidence to show that being in nature is good for us, both physically and emotionally.

Would you like to try some nature-connection days, run by experienced facilitators from Sacred Earth?

We are offering 4 FREE sessions, specifically for people from Hailsham and the surrounding villages.

The details

Each day will be slightly different, but the 4 sessions will include days spent on our beautiful 40-acre site (near Horam) and at least one day spent walking in Park Wood, Hellingly.

You’ll get to try forest bathing, mindfulness and sensory awareness activities, meet other local people and spend time around a campfire.

The sessions are for people aged 25-70 and the dates are June 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th and days will run from 10am – 4pm.

Due to Covid restrictions we ask that you bring your own packed lunch, drinking water and a cup for tea and coffee. We’ll be operating in a safely- spaced environment, with suitable hand sanitising facilities available.

Please note that spaces are limited to 15 people and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis to applicants with a local postcode.

Register your interest by emailing wildwellbeingwednesdays@gmail.com with your name, age and address and any questions you may have. We’ll then send you an enrolment form.

We ask that everyone commit to attending all four sessions, to get the most from the experience.

We look forward to meeting you!

Caroline and Jim, Sacred Earth facilitators.
