What can ABCD (asset-based community development) do for you?

How familiar do you feel about Asset-Based Community Development, its approaches and principles?

Did you know that an ABCD approach can be undertaken by anyone anywhere? You are probably doing some of it already. All you need to do is recognise what you already have, listen, share, connect and grow ideas. Learn more with this interactive tool

After you have begun to explore all about ABCD, you could come along to “What can ABCD do for you: the event”. This workshop will take a deeper dive into the subject, allowing for attendees to share stories, learning and practical ways of becoming “more ABCD”! We will share the Making It Happen toolkit in more detail and consider how it can be a valuable resource for all kinds of groups. We will also share how

you can find out more after the event from local, national and global sources. You will be welcome whether this is the first you’ve heard of ABCD or have more experience.

Who’s it for? Anyone working or volunteering with a community group or organisation in East Sussex, especially Wealden.
