Tom Warder: Community Led Housing Manager & Deputy CEO

Tom Warder is the Community Led Housing Manager at AirS where he oversees the work of the Sussex Community Housing Hub. Tom provides technical support to a range of community led housing groups and projects from housing association partnerships to stand-alone Community Land Trusts (CLTs).

He has enabled the delivery of 15 local needs affordable housing schemes across Sussex over the past ten years, a rural housing enabling service which evolved into the Sussex Community Land Trust Project in 2013 and the Sussex Community Housing Hub in 2017.

During his time at Airs, Tom has also overseen his team’s work on over thirty five neighbourhood plans across the region and was the project manager for the first plan to pass referendum in Sussex at Arundel, where he co-ordinated the work on the plan through to its successful conclusion.

Tom has also been instrumental in the setting up of housing hubs across the South East region in his role as a community led housing advisor.
