Chris Hobbs

After a career in Sales and Marketing roles across newspaper, magazine and confectionery manufacturers, Chris now devotes his time to projects that benefit his community. As a resident of Hassocks, in West Sussex Chris was elected to Mid Sussex District Council as a District Councillor for Hassocks ward in 2023 and joined the Cabinet with responsibility for Leisure and Customer Services. In 2024 he was appointed Deputy Leader.

Chris is Chair of Adastra Hall Hassocks Community Association, the CIO that runs Adastra Hall, the successful village hall in Hassocks. Outside of these commitments, Chris is married to Beverley, is a season ticket holder at Brighton and Hove Albion where he attends home games with his son, and a keen traveller.
