Finlay was born and grew up in Somerset but has lived in Brighton for 5 years now. He has recently joined AirS as a Project Support and Communications Officer, having completed his degree in International Development with Arabic at the University of Sussex. His experience is primarily in the NGO & voluntary sector and has conducted research on language and politics. He has come to really enjoy living in East Sussex given its proximity to nature and the sea.

Finlay speaks Urdu, Hindi, Arabic, and is learning Pashto and Dari. Aside from this, he also enjoys photography, climbing and the outdoors, and can often be found on his bicycle.
