Finlay was born and grew up in Somerset but has lived in Brighton for 5 years now. He has recently joined AirS as a Project Support and Communications Officer, having completed his degree in International Development with Arabic at the University of Sussex. His experience is primarily in the NGO & voluntary sector and has conducted research on language and politics. Coming from a rural background himself, Fin has come to really enjoy living in East Sussex, given the closeness to nature and the sea.

Finlay is also a keen linguist, and speaks Hindi, Urdu, Arabic and is learning Pashto. He can often be found on his bicycle.
