Jo Peters – Village Agent, Community Development Worker for Making it Happen

Jo spent her childhood growing up in Thanet which gave her a love for the sea, music and art, it also created her passion for addressing inequalities seeing first-hand the results of ‘no prospects’ that effected young friends in her community.

Jo has lived in mid Sussex for 16 years and has 18 years experience of working in community regeneration, public health and community development. She lives with her husband, daughter and dog and enjoys walking, swimming and volunteering. She currently volunteers with a repair café and a horse rescue along with her daughter.
